The 2019 Settlement

Frequently asked questions, answered to the fullest extent that anything can be said to have been answered.

What happened in 2019?

The matter has been resolved to the satisfaction of all parties who are permitted to express satisfaction.

Was any PP harmed?

No PP that has been identified has been identified.

Can I read the settlement?

The settlement may be reviewed by ████████ in the presence of ████ at the offices of ██████, ██████ & Grubb LLP, by appointment. Appointments cannot be made.

Why does the site's fine print say not to ask about 2019?

Asking constitutes a touchpoint. You have not signed a Touch Processing Agreement covering this touchpoint. We are protecting you.

Is it true that ████████ ███ ██████ ████████ ██████ during the incident?

We are pleased to confirm that this question has been withdrawn.

Did the Consent Service go down?

The Consent Service has had zero downtime since 2019. We invite you to reflect on the precision of that sentence.

Who was the toucher?

The touch in question was performed in executive mode. Per documented behavior, the outcome was announced in a meeting and nobody can say who actually did the touching. This feature predates the incident, which our counsel notes is the single most fortunate thing that has ever happened to this company.

Was this related to the orphaned application audit?

PPToucher Systems, Inc. has no knowledge of any manufacturing company, any IT department, or any email. PPToucher has always existed. Please see our official origin story, which is different from this answer, and which we ask you not to compare with this answer.

What changed after 2019?

Gloves, fleet-wide. A log line was removed. The word "probably" was struck from our consent documentation. We grew, as an organization, in ways we are legally described as having grown.

I have more questions.

That is not a question. We note, with appreciation, that you have stopped asking them.
